The marriage took place quietly on Saturday at St. Columba’s Church, Church of Scotland, Pont Street, of William Drake Seaburne May, son of Major-General Sir Reginald Seaburne May, K.B.E., C.B., C.M.G., D.S.O., and the late Lady Seaburne May, of Bughtrigg, Berwickshire and Betty, only daughter of Sir Lynden and Lady Macassey, of Ashburn Place, S.W.

Macassey, of Hollywood Co. Down.

Ian Gillan officiated at the marriage,which took place in St. Columba’s Church, Church of Scotland, Pont St., of Mr William Drake Seaburne May,(late Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders), eldest son of Major-General Sir Reginald Seaburne May, K.B.E., C.B., C.M.G., D.S.O., and the late Lady Seaburne May, of Bughtrigg, Coldstream, to Miss Betty Livingston Macassey, only daughter of Sir Lynden and Lady Macassey, of 26 Ashburn Place, S.W.

The bridegroom is the grandson of the Late Admiral of the Fleet Sir William May and lady May, Bughtrigg.

The marriage took place quietly Saturday at St. Columba’s Church of Scotland, Pont Street, London, of Mr. William Drake Seaburne May, son of Major-General Sir Reginald Seaburne May, and the late Lady Seaburne May, of Burghtrigg, Coldstream, Berwickshire, and Miss Betty Livingston Macassey, only daughter of Sir Lynden Macassey, K.8.E., K.C., and Lady Macassey, of 26, Ashburn Place, London. The marriage service was conducted Rev. lan R. Gillan, B.A , and only the near relatives of the bride and bridegroom were present. After the wedding there was a family luncheon party at Claridge’s Hotel.
