CROFTON, Barry Gerald Barry passed away peacefully September 8th, 2012 with his loving wife Gail and sister Kerry at his side. Son of Patrick and Anne Crofton, Barry was born in Ganges and attended St Michael’s School and Oak Bay High. He is survived by his wife Gail Crofton-Kerr (her sisters Julie and Karen) and step-son Ben King in Nova Scotia, and brother Cameron (Carol Marie), sister Kerry (Charles Blackhall), nephew Nigel, niece Deki and many Crofton cousins in Victoria and his Evans cousins. Barry was much loved for his gentle spirit and great sense of fun; he was loving, brave and cheerful, never losing his wry humour even in the face of his long illness. A funeral service was held in Halifax. Barry will be remembered at the 10 am service, Oak Bay United Church this Sunday, September 23rd.
