ROGERS, Myrtle Mae Peacefully in her home, on September 15, 2017, surrounded by the love of her 9 children. Predeceased by her beloved husband John (2009). Loving mother to John Rogers and Victory Jones (2016), Greg and Eileen Rogers, Gord and Rose Rogers, Mary and Pat McGouran, Karen Wiltshire, Sandra and Colin Whyte, Marlene and Michael Manning, Michael and Krystyna Rogers, James Rogers and Jen Wilson. “Mam” will be lovingly remembered by her 30 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. The family welcomes relatives and friends to celebrate the life of this gentle soul who always put others first. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 20 at 10 a.m., St Gabriel’s Church (670 Sheppard Ave. East, Toronto).
