The Celebrated Irish Pony Sire,
Little Joe
Bred by Lord Crofton at Mote Park. He is by Ash Bow 11, out of a pure bred Welsh pony. His grand dam was Miss Green; he is a dark bay, 8 years old, stands 13-2 ; fast trotter, can do 10 miles hour; will be let to a limited number of pony mares and a few good donkeys. Pony mares fee, 10s, with 1s groom’s fee, to be paid at first service. Donkey fees, 5s, to be paid at first service. An additional ?2s 6d groom’s fee will be charged on all fees remaining unpaid after November 1st. He will stand only at owner’s place, Rookwood Lodge, convenient to Ballygar, midway between Ballygar and Craggs. Any person wishing to have an engaged foal can have it payment of £1 and 2s 6d to groom.
I have this day at the request of Mr Murray, Ballymurry, examined the pony stallion. Little Joe. The said Pony is, in my opinion, sound. E
