The engagement of  Guy Seaburne May, second son of Lieutenant-General Sir Reginald Seaburne, and the late Lady May, of Bughtrigg, Coldstream, and Miss Argenton Fryer, second daughter of the late Colonel John Fryer, 7th Hussars, and Mrs John Fryer, Derwent hall, Stamford Bridge, York

Sir Reginald who has had a long and distinguished military career was formerly Commandant of Sandhurst.  He was appointed Quartermaster General to the Forces in February last year.

The engagement of Mr Guy Seaburne May, second son of Lieutenant-General Sir Reginald Seaburne May and the late Lady May, of Bughtrigg, Coldstream, Berwickshire, is announced to-day. He is to marry Miss Argenton Fryer, second daughter of the late Colonel John Fryer; 7th Hussars and of Mrs John Fryer, of Derwent Hall, Stamford Bridge, York. Mr May is 24. Sir Reginald, who has had a long and distinuished military career, was formerly Commandant of Sandhurst. He was appointed Quartermaster-General to the Forces in February last year.
