Lord Crofton and his bride to be have a problem: Should they ask their old spouses to wedding?

A slight embarrassment for Lord Crofton, 37-year-old Irish peer, and his fiancée, Mrs. Mary Flach. Should they invite their former spouses to their wedding on December 19. It really is an extraordinary problem. For Lord Crofton’s former wife has married Mrs. Flach’s former husband, polo-playing barrister Robert Flach. 

Lord Crofton and his fiancée have decided not to invite the Flachs. “I feel it will be more comfortable for everyone if they are not invited,” said Mrs. Mary Flach last night, “ even though we are all still good friends.”  

Lord Crofton has four children by his first marriage Piers, 15; Guy. 13;; Georgina, 9; and Adrian, 

His fiancée has two—Peter, 11, and Timothy, 6. “The children have been friends for years and are very excited at the wedding,” said Mrs. Flach. Lord and Lady Crofton’s marriage was dissolved two years ago.
