The marriage took places quietly yesterday in London of Mr Robert Thomas Francis Flach, of 9 Chapel Street, S.W.1 and Lady Crofton, of Borden Wood Liphook, Hampshire, daughter of Group Captain and Mrs Charles Tighe, of Ballina Park, Ashford Co. Wicklow.

The bride, 37 year old Lay Crofton, ducked happily under the planks. But for a moment her bridegroom, 41 year old barrister Robert Flach, had to let go of her arm.
Lady Crofton, whose marriage to Irish Peer Lord Crofton was dissolved two years ago, has four children. She now drops the title and becomes Mrs Ann Flach.
The polo playing bridegroom has two children by a previous marriage.
Immediately after the wedding, the couple went to Liphook, Hants, too be with them.
Lady Crofton’s second oldest , 12 year old Guy and Mr Flach’s elder son, 11 year old Peter, have ben the best of friends for years….now they are brothers.
