The marriage took place on Saturday at St Peter’s, Ropley, Hampshire, of Mr Malby Sturges Crofton, only son of Sir Henry and Lady Crofton, of Berwick St. John Manor, Wiltshire, and of Longford House, Co. Sligo, and Miss Elizabeth Madeline Nina Mansel, eldest daughter of Major Rhys Mansel, of Popley Manor, near Alresford, and the late Mrs Mansel. The Rev John Northcott officiated.
The bride, who was given away by her father, was attended by two pages – Piers Chicester, and James Lowry-Corry – and a child bridesmaid, Morna Chicester. Mr David Lane was the best man.
A reception was held at the home of the bride. The honeymoon will be spent in Jamaica.
