 OBITUARY OF EMINENT PERSONS.

LADY CROFTON.

The Right Hon. Georgiana, Baroness Crofton, died, on the 9th inst., at Mote Park, in the county of Roscommon. Her Ladyship was bom Aug. 29, 1800, the third daughter of Field-Marshal Henry William, Marquis of Anglesey, K.G., and was married, Oct. 19, 1833, to Edward, second Lord Crofton, by whom, who died Dec. 27, 1809, she leaves four sons and one daughter, Augusta Caroline, wife of the Hon. L. Gerald Dillon, eldest son of Robert, Lord Clonbrock. Her Ladyship’s eldest son, Edward Henry Churchill, third Lord Crofton, is one of the representative peers for Ireland.

Death of Lady Crofton. —We have to record the death of Georgina Lady Crofton, which took place  on Tuesdav last, at Mote Park, Ballymurrary, Roscommon. Her ladyship was the third daughter of Henry William 1st  Marquis of Anglesey, by his first wife, Lady Caroline Elizabeth Villiers,, third daughter of George 4th Earl of Jersey, and sister of the late Duchess (Dowager) of Richmond, the Marchioness Conyngham, and the late.Lady Templemore. She was born 20th August, 1800 “ and married, 19th October, 1833, Edward 2nd Lord Crofton by whom, who died l.7th December, 1869, she had issue Edward Henry Churchill, tbe present peer, and three other sons, and a daughter, Hon. Augusta Carolina married to Hon. Luke Gerald Dillon.
