The infant son of Mr and Mrs Charles May was christened George Hamish Seaburne by Canon Kenneth Boddy at St’ Oswin’s Church, Wylam, Northunberland, on October 30. The godparents are Captain Michael Portman, Mr Benjamin Speke, Mr Charles Pedrick, Mrs Guy May, Mrs Dominick Martelli and Mrs John Cooke-Hurle.
