THis Gallery is a selection of photographs taken from one of the many albums I have relating too my grandparents Archibald (Archie) and Mary May. They cover the period after the end of WW11. For quite a few years they ran a chicken farm in Devon before moving back up to Chatto in the Borders in Scotland. After Archie died My grandmother moved down to live with my father in Sunningdale – There was a fun cottage in the gardens of Ridge House where she lived. After that houses was sold my father had a house “Glenarvon” in Cranleigh Surrey where she lived. After that she moved into a cottage in my father garden at Ryder Wells Farm – Lewes Sussex. When my father moved to Dorset his mother moved to a nursing home in the same area of Dorset until her death.
